Fuck that, on to other things...Testament AND Iron Maiden are coming up soon...really stoked about that. Lots of shows coming up actually...tis the season :D I never get tired of seeing bands, as crazy as that is. I always love the atmosphere, especially for hardcore shows. I actually saw and enjoyed Waking the Cadaver at Lucky 13 last Saturday and they were GOOD. The crowds are so different...no stuffy metal head elitists standing around whining about those who actually want to start a pit or make some kind of movement to the beat. And this year will be the first time I've ever seen Maiden....Brilliant. Paganfest is on the 21st or 22nd (can't remember and I'm not looking it up for this) and then MDF that weekend. MOST brilliant. It's just going to be great!
My troll and I have been together for almost a year here in just a month or so...what do you buy someone for a year anniversary...that isn't tools? haha. I want it to be something nice...Bah, my mind is too hazed for a decent processed thought right now. Sometimes I still get flash backs and I still get insecure...that's the only part of me I really dislike. That distrust I let others instill in me...pisses me off. I can't see myself with any other, so that's why it's a little overwhelming I suppose. I love this little bastard...even though he's snoring over the volume of my TV at the moment :-\
Christ, Fear and Loathing is such an amazingly put together movie. I never get tired of watching it...I always find new things in it and new meaning in the things that are said...Amazing how some people live...

Anywho...the weekend went very well. We stayed in and slept on Friday, which is always good for the wallet, and Saturday we went to Hartsdale to visit friends. The UFC was AWESOME, Silva won, just as I predicted! I was the only happy person in the room I think =X Our friends there are just great and I can't wait to go back.
On the way back though, I was reminded too much of home. The hills lull, jagged here and there with protruding rocks and the endless knots of trees and their fallen limbs. If I had to guess where the inspiration for Celtic knots came from...just look out into the woods. They're everything. All of life is just this big knoted puzzle that eventually falls back in on itself. It's a gut wrenching feeling, wanting to be back home...I'm tied to it through my blood. The land I came from, where my mother and father live now, is stained with our blood and sweat from working the Earth for over 100 years. As a child, it was my playground. It was my only friend and I miss it as if it were a human. Pets are buried on that land, pets that showed me unconditional love through the years lay at rest there. I never knew it would have such a hold on me but its not giving in easily.
Things are looking up for me now...Spring is coming too...I wonder what its going to bring me.

Today is looking up. I woke up in a good mood, which is rare, and I'm really excited about my interview, andddd last night, a certain someone finally got the tell off I think he had coming to him. I'm just really afraid it won't be the end of the drama he's brought into "our" lives. I say "our" because there is more than just me involved in the misery...I find it saddening at the same time. What kind of human being is that? What happened to him to make him the dishonest monster that he is today? It's scary, nowadays, knowing what kind of people are breeding...I'm just afraid this joker will knock some girl up and his genetics will go on. I even wonder if his personality may be a flaw in the genetic code...Bah, anyway...I digress. I find that being friends with this guy was like continually watching a mix between Maury and a soap opera. No screaming black women in this one (yet) and Maury isn't there to bestow his awe inspiring authority, but all the same, it's just as melodramatic. I worry for my friend and what this bum is capable of...as for my own safety...HA, I have an attack troll =D I will always worry about my friends more than me, though...that's just my nature. I know that I'll be fine no matter what and I have to make sure they're the same!
In other good news, Mets season is coming...That always makes me happy. My life really isn't as eventful as it used to be =\

Sorry, I'm just being whiney I guess. Actually while in the middle of writing this I just had a call for an interview in Manhattan... :-D So now I'm okay...
Women are so emotional...hehe.
Tomorrow night me and a girlfriend are going to a club in Manhattan...I need more people to go so that it's actually fun and not just scary!
Other than that, I have nothing new to report. Thinking about it...I wish I could write again. I miss writing poetry and shit...I was so good at it. :-\
